Christenings

A Christening (or Baptism) marks the first step of an amazing journey with God, Parents, God-parents, friends, family and the Church.

You don’t have to have been Christened yourself, and you don’t have to have been a regular church-goer.

‘Whoever believes and is Baptised will be saved.’

Weddings

Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual. Churches are unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the service become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond... From Banns of Marriage to Wedding Blessings you will find everything you need to know here…

Funerals

If someone you know and love has died, a funeral led by a Church of England minister can be held in church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium.

‘Peace I leave you; my peace I give to you… Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’
